Are you counting all DNS queries?
No, we have sampling in place to protect the DNS servers resources. Under normal circumstances, this floats around 1 out of 3 samples. During normal peaks, this can drop to 1 out of 50. Under extreme load, this may be throttled further.
We also don't track domains that have less than 1000 queries per second at any given interval.
How long do you keep data available?
We aim to keep the data as long as reasonably possible. We currently offer little over 4 full weeks of data.
Why are there entries in the CSV export that do not show in the UI?
There are limitations to what the UI is able to offer. The below warning is shown if that limit is hit.
